Use item. Energy cans from crates give a turbo in that flavor.
Loose cans
Grab the Outlaw Swagger cans on the road. Each can you hold adds 2% top speed (up to 10) and a point at the finish. Get hit and you drop 3. Every 10 you grab fires an Outlaw Swagger Surge: a big turbo that nothing can knock you out of.
On a ramp
Tap Space in the air for a trick and a boost on landing
Rocket start
Hit the gas right as the 2 disappears (on phones, press Drift)
Dead Man's Mesa
Lead the race and the Sheriff comes for you. Boost and drift to shake him before he rams you.
Roughneck Run
Wellheads blow out and spray oil across the road: steer clear or slide. And watch for the big rig coming the wrong way.
Dirtland Rodeo
Watch for loose bulls charging down the track, and rodeo clowns rolling barrels across it.
On a phone
Slide your left thumb to steer. Gas is automatic. Drift, Item and Brake are on the right. Tilt steering is in the pause menu.
